In a food processor, add the cottage cheese and cream cheese. Process until smooth and add to the spinach mixture. Add the black olives, lemon juice, salt and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until well combined. Cover the bowl and chill for 1 hour before serving. Sprinkle the pine nuts over the top before serving. Serve with pita chips and fresh veggies.
Warm Turnip Green Dip
Makes 4 cups
Ingredients
5 bacon slices, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 lb. pkg. frozen chopped turnip greens, thawed
12 oz. cream cheese, cut into pieces
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
